Booth rules at SHOT Show
From SHOT Show: Display Regulations & Height Restrictions 2027, plus the Las Vegas fire code. Rules change between editions: always confirm with the current exhibitor manual.

More from the SHOT Show rules
- Cubic content: you can build up to the front of the booth, up to your hall’s height limit. Linear booths give up 3 in. at each side rail and 9 in. at the back for utilities (a 10x20 has 9 ft 3 in. × 19 ft 6 in. to build on).
- Signs and graphics more than 8 ft above the floor that face a neighboring booth must be at least 10 ft away from it.
- Hanging signs only over islands and peninsulas of 400 sq ft or more, in Halls A–D (booths 10000–17000) and at Caesars Forum (70000s). The top can’t pass the booth’s height limit; lighting truss alone may go above it on peninsulas and islands if it carries no graphics.
- Booths of 400 sq ft or more and every multi-level booth send the Exhibit Space Design Notification with a rendering by November 6, 2026. An upper deck over 300 sq ft needs two exits.
- Peninsulas and islands need a finished back wall; open or unfinished sides are covered in a neutral color with no graphics.
- The EAC application (your own builder) is due December 18, 2026.

How much does it cost to rent a booth at SHOT Show 2027?
It depends on the size, the structure and what goes inside. Pick a design, set SHOT Show as your show and you’ll see the rental price range for that exact booth in a couple of minutes, with what is and isn’t included. Your exact quote arrives within 1–2 business days. Show services (material handling, electrical, internet, cleaning) are ordered from the show and are not part of the rental price.
What is the maximum booth height at SHOT Show?
Under SHOT Show’s Display Regulations & Height Restrictions 2027: inline and corner booths up to 12 ft, perimeter booths up to 12 ft, peninsulas up to 25 ft and islands up to 25 ft. Can I have a hanging sign at SHOT Show?
Under SHOT Show’s rules: allowed over peninsula, split-island and island booths of 400 sq ft or more, with the show’s approval; the top of the sign can’t pass the booth’s height limit; 10 ft back from neighbors. Rigging is ordered through the show. Our designer checks your sign’s size, height and setback for you.
How early should I book my SHOT Show booth?
About three months before the show is the sweet spot: enough time to settle the design, produce the graphics and register your installer with the show. If you’re closer than that, a rental can still be built in about a month once the design and quote are approved.
Can installation and dismantle at SHOT Show be included?
On request, yes. The exhibit builder that quotes your booth can coordinate installation & dismantle (I&D), freight and show services and quote them separately, based on SHOT Show’s labor rules and deadlines. The installer registers with the show as your exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) when the show requires it.
