Booth rules at Vision Expo
From Vision Expo: Display Rules & Regulations 2027 (Venetian Expo, Halls A–B), plus the Las Vegas fire code. Rules change between editions: always confirm with the current exhibitor manual.
| Inline and corner booths (10 ft deep) | Up to 8 ft tall; the full height is allowed across the booth |
|---|---|
| Perimeter booths (against a hall wall) | Up to 8 ft tall |
| Peninsula booths | Up to 15 ft tall |
| Island booths | Up to 20 ft tall (28 ft for booths of 1,000 sq ft or more) |
| Hanging signs | Allowed over peninsula, split-island and island booths of 400 sq ft or more, with the show’s approval; the top of the sign can’t pass the booth’s height limit; 10 ft back from neighbors. Rigging is ordered through the show. |
| Covered areas (Las Vegas fire rules) | Covered areas (ceilings, canopies, meeting rooms with a roof) over 300 sq ft need battery-operated smoke detectors and a plan sent to the fire prevention office; booths over 1,000 sq ft submit a booth plan. |
More from the Vision Expo rules
- Cubic content: you can build up to the front of the booth. Perimeter, end-cap and split-island booths aren’t listed, so we use the linear limit (8 ft) for perimeter and end-cap booths and the peninsula limit (15 ft) for split islands.
- Hanging signs: only island, peninsula or walk-through booths of 400 sq ft or more in a 20x20 format or larger, and never in the Independent Design area or the Innovation Center. The top of the sign can’t pass your booth’s height limit.
- Independent Design area (Hall B): every booth 8 ft max, with no hanging signs, pop-up banners or custom booths.
- Anything above the drape height must be finished, neutral and free of copy where it faces another exhibitor. Inline and peninsula booths need a finished back wall that covers the whole back.
- Covered or multi-story areas over 1,000 sq ft need sprinklers and a permit; an upper level over 300 sq ft needs two exits; double-deckers and booths over 7,500 sq ft need a stamped architectural drawing.
- EAC (your own builder): name it by February 8, 2027; its documents are due February 22, 2027.

Vision Expo booth rental: common questions
How much does it cost to rent a booth at Vision Expo 2027?
It depends on the size, the structure and what goes inside. Pick a design, set Vision Expo as your show and you’ll see the rental price range for that exact booth in a couple of minutes, with what is and isn’t included. Your exact quote arrives within 1–2 business days. Show services from Freeman (material handling, electrical, internet, cleaning) are ordered from the show and are not part of the rental price.
What is the maximum booth height at Vision Expo?
Under Vision Expo’s Display Rules & Regulations 2027 (Venetian Expo, Halls A–B): inline and corner booths up to 8 ft, perimeter booths up to 8 ft, peninsulas up to 15 ft and islands up to 20 ft (28 ft for booths of 1,000 sq ft or more). Always confirm with the current exhibitor manual.
Can I have a hanging sign at Vision Expo?
Under Vision Expo’s rules: allowed over peninsula, split-island and island booths of 400 sq ft or more, with the show’s approval; the top of the sign can’t pass the booth’s height limit; 10 ft back from neighbors. Rigging is ordered through the show. Our designer checks your sign’s size, height and setback for you.
How early should I book my Vision Expo booth?
About three months before the show is the sweet spot: enough time to settle the design, produce the graphics and register your installer with the show. If you’re closer than that, a rental can still be built in about a month once the design and quote are approved.
Can installation and dismantle at Vision Expo be included?
On request, yes. The exhibit builder that quotes your booth can coordinate installation & dismantle (I&D), freight and show services and quote them separately, based on Vision Expo’s labor rules and deadlines. The installer registers with the show as your exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) when the show requires it.
